Anna Stephenson, PA-C

Anna Stephenson, MHS, PA-C is from Greenville, NC. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a degree in Peace, War, and Defense and a minor in Chemistry. After college, she worked as a Nursing Assistant in a pediatrics clinic. This experience, among others, confirmed her interest in pursuing a career as a healthcare provider. She then received a Master’s in Health Sciences degree from the Duke University Physician Assistant Program. During PA school, she found her calling in family medicine and is dedicated to serving the community by providing quality care to patients of all ages. She has been working in Family Medicine since 2020 and is passionate about many areas of medicine with particular interests in pediatrics, cardiology, preventative medicine, and the opportunity to get to know her patients.
Anna grew up playing classical violin in Greenville, NC. She values quality time with friends and enjoys painting, boxing, scuba diving, and spending time with family on the Pamlico River.

Noah Wichman, PA-C

Noah grew up in Ithaca NY and got his bachelors degree from Binghamton University. He moved to Durham in 2001 to attend the Duke University Physician Assistant program. Prior to joining Bull City Medicine, Noah practiced family medicine in Roxboro for 21 years with an 18 month stint in pediatrics in Adelaide Australia in 2009-2010.  Noah lives in Durham with his wife and has a son at NC State. When not at work, Noah enjoys spending time outdoors and is an avid mountain biker.  

Jade Henderson, NP-C

Jade joined Bull City Family Medicine and Pediatrics in December, 2022. She is a local of Durham, NC who completed her Associate’s Degree in Nursing at Durham Technical Community College in 2012, and then went on to complete a bridge program in 2021 for her Master of Science at Walden University, where she decided to specialize and become an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. Prior to working at Bull City Family Medicine and Pediatrics, she worked as a Nurse Practitioner in the Skilled Nursing Facility world, and prior to that, worked as a Registered Nurse at Duke Internal Medicine and Pediatrics for 7 years.

Jade is nationally certified as an Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of North Carolina and is able to assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe medications. She has a special interest in caring for patients 13 and up.

Jade lives in Timberlake with her husband, 2 children (Chase and Caroline), and dog (Sarge) She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, going to concerts, getting pampered, and traveling as she is able. She is married to a fellow Carolina fan, Jay.

Danielle Arvan, NP-C

Meet Danielle

Danielle joined Bull City Family Medicine August 2018. She is originally from New Jersey and moved to Raleigh in 2012 to pursue her nursing career at Duke University Hospital. After graduating from Ramapo College of New Jersey with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing she spent 5 years working on an adult Surgical/Trauma Unit at Duke University Hospital. She returned to school and graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing from Simmons College in Boston in 2018.

Danielle is nationally certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is licensed to practice in the state of North Carolina as a Nurse Practitioner, while under the supervision of a physician. She enjoys caring for patients of all ages and is able to assess, diagnose, treat and prescribe medications as well as perform minor office procedures.

Danielle lives in Garner with her husband Rich and daughter Olivia. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, spends her Sundays in the fall cheering for the Eagles, and loves that North Carolina has both the mountains and beach for her to explore

Althea Massenburg, M.D.

Meet Dr. Massenburg

Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and board eligible in Pediatrics

Dr. Massenburg joined Bull City Family Medicine and Pediatrics in 2001. She is a native of New York who graduated Cum Laude from Harvard University with a concentration in Psychology. Her family hails from Jamaica and Barbados, West Indies. She received her MD from the University of Michigan Medical School in 1996 and completed a combined residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill. While in residency she also began a Masters in Public Health. Dr. Massenburg is a diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine and is board eligible in Pediatrics. She is also a member of the American College of Physicians. She is married to Larry who is a North Carolina native and has two children, Grayson and Nola. She is active in church and in her free time she enjoys trail walks, cooking, and party planning.

Adam C. Wenzlik, M.D.

Meet Dr. Wenzlik

Board Certified in Family Medicine

Dr. Wenzlik joined Bull City Family Medicine and Pediatrics in October 2003. He grew up in Blacksburg, VA. and attended the University of Richmond and then went to medical school at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio where he served as chief resident. He then spent 3 years serving in the U.S. Navy at the Naval Hospital Cherry Point in eastern North Carolina. He is board certified in Family Medicine. He enjoys all aspects of family medical care and has additional training in sports medicine, gynecology, and many minor and major office procedures. He is an avid distance runner and enjoys spending his free time with his wife Katie and his two children, Jackie and Noah.

James Partridge, M.D.

Meet Dr. Partridge

Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Board Eligible in Pediatrics

Dr. Partridge joined Bull City Family Medicine and Pediatrics in July 2003. He is a native of California who completed his undergraduate studies in biology at California Plytechnic University in Los Angeles. He received his medical training at St. George’s University and the completed a four year residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at West Virginia University. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and board eligible in Pediatrics. He is married to a fellow Carolina fan, Susan and has twins, Samantha and Cooper.  They both enjoy outdoor sports including scuba diving, mountain biking, and hiking. He enjoys live music and plays guitar.

Poorvi Shah, M.D.

Poorvi Shah

Dr. Shah joined Bull City Family Medicine and Pediatrics in 2002. She was born in Chicago but has been in North Carolina since grade school. She considers herself a North Carolina native. She graduated with a BS in Biology in 1993 and went on to study Medicine at the UNC School of Medicine in 1994. She received her MD in 1998 and completed a four year combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency Program at UNC Hospitals. Dr. Shah is board certified in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, American College of Internal Medicine and American Academy of Pediatrics. She loves Carolina basketball, reading, and watching movies. She lives in Chapel Hill with her husband Erik and two daughters, Priya and Asha.
